Synth City - International Synthesizer Day 2018 ★ Teder.fm

One year ago the first international synthesizer Day was celebrated under "Synth City",

unifying synth enthusiasts, artists, creators and music lovers worldwide

in celebrations for the creation of an instrument that completly changed the face of music,

and made a leap ahead for human progress.

Geographical, physical and political boarders we're torn,

and radio stations from all across the globe like Worldwide Fm, Dublab,

Redlight Radio, Le Mellotron Radio and also Teder Fm

came wirelessly together via audio-video broadcasts online,

to pay their respects to this importent invention,

that since the 60's is lifting us up high.

 

 

This year, like the year before it,

Teder is taking part of this huge day,

and joining our friends from overseas,

for 24 hours-long broadcast that is all dedicated to the synth.

 

 

During that time, the worship will continue in the form of preformences and shows,

at the teder's floor:

 

Ground Modular - Markey Funk and Mule driver are coming back

with a new 7" album, in a raw and dark preformance that will hitchike

on the sharp rhytems of the drummer Sagie Zex.

 

3421 - the pair from Haifa are visiting with a show

that's constructed for the Synth day.

accompanied by 5 keyboardists, 

they'll lunch their psychedelic visions everywhere.

 

Zach Bar X Friends - later this evening, Zach Bar, an old friend and a vinyl warior, along with good pals

gonna jump into the dj booth in the romano for sets to praise the synth to.

that'll open with a set by Tofistock label in the celebratory synthesized vibes of the day.

 

 

The international synthesizer Day is celebrated on the 23rd of may,

the birthday of the inventor of the synth, Robert Moog.

His invention not only succeededcommercially,

but also succeeded in bringing people together,

developing a different way of thinking

and open a new way for music.

these achivments will all show, 

in one way or another, during this holiday.
